Camino Books Written by Women
Sometimes, in the chaos of a website revamp, things get lost. Unfortunately, that’s what happened to my original blog post about Camino books written by women. But since it was such a popular post, I’ve taken the time to recreate it here.
This list is a collection of books by incredible female authors who have walked the Camino de Santiago and shared their journeys through memoirs, guide books, fiction (!) and even recipe books.
If you’re looking for an inspiring read before embarking on your own pilgrimage—or if you just want to experience the Camino from the comfort of your home—these books are a great place to start.
While I’ve done my best to reconstruct this list, I apologise if any wonderful Camino books written by women I may have missed. If you know of a great read that should be included, please let me know in the comments. I update this blog post every six months, so if you let me know of a book but you’re not seeing it yet, it will be added to the next revision. Leaving a comment will let other readers know of the book in the meantime.
I’d love to discover more stories to share!
Buen Camino!
